Interview and Stuff

Okay, so I've just read a lot (but not all) of JKR's interview with the people from The Leaky Cauldron and Mugglenet. And here's the quote I wanted to point out:


MA: Forgive me if I'm remembering incorrectly, but was Regulus the one who was murdered by Voldemort —

JKR: Well Sirius said he wouldn't have been because he wasn't important enough, remember?

MA: But that doesn’t have to be true, if [R.A.B.] is writing Voldemort a personal note.

JKR: That doesn't necessarily show that Voldemort killed him, personally, but Sirius himself suspected that Regulus got in a little too deep. Like Draco. He was attracted to it, but the reality of what it meant was way too much to handle.


Yep. So, there you go. JKR already has made a connection with Draco and Regulus in her mind, which is just further proof of the Draco is Dead theory. Draco is in over his head and he doesn't know what to do. He can't get out of the Death Eaters now (thank you Severus) and what's he supposed to do? He's stuck between a wand and his parents lives. *sigh*

I think I shall have to face the facts soon. Draco is dead. Dead, dead, dead. There is no hope for him in book 7. I will live with this knowledge and hopefully be able to prepare myself for it before it comes to be.

Poor dead!Draco. ;_;

This does give me some great ideas for my H/D B3E fic, though. ^_^*
